You Kahwin Dengan I, You Dapat Duit.

Image
Hi readers. Imagine getting married and receiving incentives out of it. Cool, right? Sudahla tambah isteri, dapat duit lagi~ Heaven lah for men. For Malaysians, I’m sure you’re aware already of this issue. A few days ago, Kelantan’s government suggested that any man in Kelantan who took a widow as their second wife would be given an incentive. When I first heard that, I was outraged! VERY outraged! It’s as if those single mothers are THAT desperate of having a husband until the government had to give an incentive to man who marry them. What’s the difference between them and prostitutes then? Okay this might be way too harsh but come on, we women are not.that.desperate.for men. When the government offered incentives to those who took widows as their second wife, somehow it also questions the real intention of the man marrying the widow. "Abang kahwin dengan Yah sebab nak dapat duit ke sebab nak jaga Yah dengan anak-anak Yah ni? Cakap bang, cakap!" I know, I know... The...

Satu Subjek Satu Semester

(When I don't have any good idea what to write, I like to just flashback...) Prevention and Care of Sport Injuries is one of 7 subjects I took last semester. The assignments for that ONE subject consisted of A WHOLE LOAD of assignments! The lecturer gave a lot of assignments and field work as if his subject was the only one we were studying for the whole semester... Yes I complained a lot before, but not now as looking back I realized it was actually quite a lot of fun and I do learnt a lot just from doing the assignments. A hands-on experience, I must say, got me to understand the subject better. In just this one subject, I learnt sports massage, strapping and taping, and added more knowledge on CPR. Sports Massage I never knew massaging could be so tiring! Oh, and FYI, these tiny tiny fingers of mine are said to be much better compared to bulky hands as the pressure is more precise. It gets to the nerve much better. For say, like example, comparing a needle and a b...

Bagi Betis, Nak Peha.

Okay excuse me, but the Kamal Effendi , followed my blog! Kamal who? Kamal Effendi… If you followed the famous Cik Epal ’s blog, you’ll know him quite well. I tried to resist writing about this as I think it’s quite bimbo -like (being followed by a famous blogger… duh!) but somehow… I just couldn’t resist the temptation! So sorry if you're like 'Kamal Effendi? Siapa tu? Oh alaa... Followers baru 1000+ aje pun~' because I tend to mark bloggers as famous when they have more than one thousand followers... Well comparing to my own, only 78. Heh... Oh, so he dropped a comment as well. Suka. :) Okay. Follow dah , komen pun dah … I visited his blog, and checked just in case he put my blog in his blog list . Tak ada la pulak~ Ehehee... Just because I put the blogs I followed in my blog list, doesn't mean that he'd do the same , right? Right. But I don't really mind, really! (jangankan lepas ni tiba-tiba je blog I dah disenaraikan pada bloglist dia ;p) Anyway... ...

Sipi-Sipi Anugerah Dekan

Oh so thankful...! The second semester’s result is out already and I received a Dean’s List. Though not so hebat pun... 3.52 only~ Sangat sipi-sipi kan… But anyway, a Dean’s List is still a Dean’s List though only 0.02, right? Right! Hehee… It's a good thing UiTM started to e-mail our examination results instead of having to go to the Student Portal. I still remember during my Diploma days where we can only check our result the day after as the line is too busy. Traffic jam. Oh, I'm just listing out my result here for my own reference later on... (And for you to err... Judge me? -.-") Presentation Skills A- (late submission of speech outline, okay fine...) Fitness Testing and Evaluation B+ (conducted agility T-test on a wet court) Kinesiology B+ (first assignment suspected plagiarism...) Exercise Nutrition A- (Maybe because I slept during his class , that's why I got A minus...) Law Relating to Sport and Recreation B+ (arrived at class 9 pm when cl...

12:1, Belalai Gajah, and Kaki Kipas

12 students to 1 teacher. The students are all oh so so small children. Very active. Adding to the challenge, the pool is so deep even I couldn't reach the bottom. I have to stand on tip toes all the time! Starting from yesterday, the class was held at another swimming pool as like I've stated in my previous post, the swimming pool's pump is not working, which in return resulted in a dirty swimming pool. Honestly, I don't really like this new swimming pool. It was too deep. And at the side of the pool, at the pool's wall, there wasn't any place to hold. I mean, there were only flat tiles so it was hard for them to hang on to the pool side. Like yesterday, while holding on to the wall, one of my students slipped. Lucky thing yesterday I had my younger brother to assist me. A good swimming pool must have this sort of drain to hold on to it. Today my younger brother assisted mum as she needed him more. Mum's shorter than me, you see.....

Ready To Fly

Image
There are some things in life which we delay to do later... We feel that we still have time to do it, so we keep on delaying. Until the time comes when we have no choice but to do it. I took this quote from the movie Paulie, about a parrot who can talk but couldn't fly as he's afraid of heights. He finally forced himself to learn how to fly because it's the only way he could search for his long lost best friend. * * * * * Today was the last class in Shah Alam and I won't be teaching there anymore until the new semester starts. If not for a contract that needs us to register our company legally, i-Renang would never be registered... And I would never push myself to learn Adobe Photoshop to design the logo. I keep on delaying because I felt comfortable with my current state. Complacent. All this while I keep on waiting, actually. Waiting for the perfect time to really really focus on it. When I'm really ready. But if I waited, that time might never come. Becau...

Finally Registered!

Image
Finally. i-Renang is registered already! As in REGISTERED legally, officially. Yay! Went to the Companies Commission of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur just now to register the business and OMG I was so excited and relieved! I think it's quite easy lah to register a business. Seriously! You only have to fill in two forms(which is given free at the counter) and prepare one IC photocopy. Pay RM70 and ta-da! The business is legal already! But like mum said, starting is easy, but keeping it going is hard. I think it's just like blogging. Starting a blog is easy, but maintaining it is hard. Don't you think? But somehow i-Renang have to be registered as i Renang as no dash (-) is allowed. While registering at the counter, a woman at the back(behind the counter are a few other workers) asked us if she could learn swimming while wearing hijab, the one which came with a muslimah swimming suit. Such a business minded person, I immediately said "Eh boleh, boleh! Memang boleh je!...

Kulit Putih Gebu. Nak? (Beauty Tips!)

I’ve always wanted a very fair skin, as in very very fair. Fair AND soft. Just like a baby’s skin. I’m not sure how to translate putih gebu in English, but just imagine Snow White. Okay, so I have one tip for a soft, subtle, and fairer skin. I’ve tried it already and it works for me. Hopefully it’d be the same for you. This tip was given by my mum and I’ve tried it already. And because it works, I’ve decided to share it with you! But… Take note that you have to do it frequently okay. Rajin, jangan malas-malas! Mesti rajin. MESTI! It's very very very simple. All you need is yogurt. Any brand can do. Cheapo brands can be used as well. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s yogurt. And oh, your face. Duh! Of course lah you need a face, kan… It’s very easy. Just put the yogurt on your face. Smear the yogurt on your face while at the same massage it. Well just so that the yogurt can penetrate deep into your skin. Ha’ah, lumurkan aje yogurt tu di mukamu…! Muda...

Being Watched

"Hi" Oh hi. "You've started wearing tudung right? Looks cuter. :) " Oh ha'ah. Thank you. * * * "Truth is, I've liked you since I saw you at *****... But I didn't have the urge to tell you because I don't think I have a chance. And you nampak garang." Oh yeke. Tak adalah pun. "Did you notice me watching you?" Entah. Didn't really notice. "GREAT! I managed to keep it a secret then. I've never told anyone about this except you." Oh yeke. "You must be surprised to know this right?" (I decided not to reply much further.) * * * Oh yes. VERY SURPRISED. Such a confession I heard yesterday. That came from someone I barely talked to. I feel flattered... A bit. But at the same time it was scary. Imagine being stalked. Imagine being watched all the time. And besides, as I said before I've never talked to this guy before. Okay, maybe a sentence or ...

Padahal Cikgu Renang Je...

I had to take the LRT to class a few days ago as I went for an outing with my friends. I had too much fun with them that I forgot the time so I had to really really rush. By the time I arrived at the counter I was panting heavily. Termengah-mengah... There were two counters but as I was too tired and out of breath, I didn't realize the next counter was already free. The Ticketing Officer(TO) had to call me, only then I notice. I was blur and pointless for a few seconds. Me: *panting, out of breath* Sungai... Besi. TO: Berapa? Me: Huh?.. Oh. Satu. *still panting* TO: Macam nak cepat je... Kenapa? Me: Ada kelas pukul 4 ni! TO: Oh... Kirim salam lecturer eh. *smiling sheepishly* Me: SAYA cikgunya. *hurriedly left the counter* Upon saying that, somehow I felt a bit shy. He must have thought I'm a lecturer. When truth is I'm just a swimming teacher. Hahah... Oh, after all those adrenaline rush, when I finally arrived at the pool... PAM KOLAM ROSAK. ...

Not Ashamed To Be Single

My friend was asked by this one girl she just met if she has a boyfriend(my friend is currently single). The girl happened to be a few years younger than my friend, and yes, this girl do have a boyfriend. When my friend said she's really single, this is what the girl said: "Tak malu ke dah 22 takde boyfriend?" (Aren't you ashamed of not having a boyfriend at the age of 22?) Upon hearing this, I was a bit insulted. Okay honestly, not only insulted but mad as well. Ha'ah, marah! Yes, I'm mad at that particular girl for saying that and OMG... Such an opinion! SUCH. AN. OPINION. Hey girl, you are so wrong! Why should we be embarrassed of not having a boyfriend at the age of 22? WHY? *Calm down, calm down* I, for one, don't believe in being in a relationship just for the sake of you know, being in a relationship. Like, if you're single you're a loser. If you have a boyfriend, you're hot. Tak ada pakwe, tak laku. Th...

Doggy Paddle

Image
I was just wondering. Am I a good teacher? Tomorrow will be my third class with the cute cute toddlers. So far, a mong the lessons I've thought my students are: Doggy paddle, Patrick star float , mushroom float, monster crawl, Spiderman, Superman, Supergirl, berenang macam katak... I know. The terms are weird. Swimming like a dog sounded a bit offensive. Monster crawl? My mum said the term is supposed to be 'monster swim ' . I wonder if I'm teaching the kids the right thing?

Admirer Aku

I bumped into a high school crush yesterday. 3 years have passed and he still remembered my name. I had this happy feeling after meeting him. Seriously, berbunga-bunga~ I thought; Awesome! I must have meant something to him. After all these years he still remembered my name! (Because me myself forgot his name already. Only now I remember...) Guess what? He passed by my mum after meeting me and she heard his conversation with his friend: Friend: Sape tadi tu? Ex-crush: Admirer aku... And they both laughed. Ceh. Talk about embarrassment. He could just simply said 'Junior aku kat sekolah dulu...' MALU. MALU SANGAT. Besides, I didn't really admire him that much anyway. He was the one who kept bugging me around, asked people to send me his regards, waited for me outside the library, hid my water bottle everyday... Smiled at me when we met at the hallway... HE started it all first. Eh... Oh yea. I suddenly remembered I asked for his number once and got rejected. Ha-ha. Back then...
