Spend 3 years for a diploma. Another 3 years for a degree. Can spend so much time studying for exams. Khatam buku tourism geography, khatam buku tour guiding. Khatam buku anatomy, khatam buku sociology... Al Quran berapa kali khatam dah? Insaf. Note to self.

Basketball Sesh: Of learning something new

Public holiday in Malaysia for Thaipusam. Well today I managed to cross out one thing out of my 101 THINGS TO DO IN 2015! Learn to play basketball with Iz. Yes, I actually involved other people in my list. Hahah. Just because he played it as in really played in a tournament. And since I never get the opportunity to watch the tournament. Tourney by tourney... Not even one. I work on weekends. EVERY WEEKEND. Plus, I've always thought of people who played basketball to be cool. And because of the most common perception that ONLY TALL people play basketball. Ah basically I just feel like learning because I think playing basketball is cool. I learnt a lot. Not only how to play basketball, but about keeping an OPEN MIND. And also about being a trainee, a student. I've always been the trainer, the one instructing, the one teaching. Stepping out of the car, hearing the sound of the ball bumping against the court (it's called dribbling by the way), I felt nervous already. ...

Assalamualaikum... I found something on the net. (It's basically an issue about aurat . For Muslim women, their aurat covers everything except the face and the palm of the hands .) Heh. Eheh... This one really really really got me, seriously. Let's be open, okay. "Pakai je tudung tapi kena tangkap khalwat!" "Ish... nama aje bertudung tapi suka melucah." Does this sound familiar to you? VERY FAMILIAR, right? I believe I should really leave this like that. You read, you understand, and you think on your own. But I must say girls donning the hijab who cursed and say bad words really really turn me off... Seriously. Oh, have a great day everyone!

Running Away from the Gold Medal

'We have a moral obligation to prevent the exploitation of high school students... When the game ends and the glory fades, the educated students will be the ultimate winners.' - Marina Chin , Principal of Bukit Jalil Sports School and former sportswoman. I went to this seminar 'SUKAN UNTUK SEMUA' last Thursday and Marina Chin was one of the speakers. Okay, honestly, I was actually forced to go to this talk. So I didn't really plan on focusing on the talk at all. But because I was sitting at the FRONT row, I had to focus. Or at least pretend to focus. Heh. But for this talk... 100% focus okay! Er, well... Maybe 99%... Distractions, distractions! Marina Chin was a famous sportswoman during the early 70s , in sprinting and hurdling basically. She was Malaysia 's fastest woman sprinter that time and now, she 's the principal of the famous sports school in Malaysia, Bukit Jalil Sports School. She gave a talk on the effect of sport...
