Kilang Air Mata

Dear diary, I've been very generous with tears lately. Wasting the lacrimal fluid I had for 4 days already. Friday, Saturday, Sunday (rest), Monday, and Tuesday. I am now officially a cengeng girl. A cry baby. Sikit sikit menangis, sikit sikit menangis. Oh my... I've never cried so much in my life! Like, so continuously!!! Friday , the birthday. So touched that tears came out. Saturday , remembering the memories, wishing everything could go back to normal, oh yea, cried again... Oh, did I tell you a friend at the zoo passed away? He got drowned at the zoo lake while crossing it to get to the small island. If you're a lifeguard, and your friend drowned. You'll understand how I felt... If you used to take a walk around the lake and visit him at the bird house, you'll know I felt. Sunday . Because I only stayed alone in my room, my mind was at total peace... Monday . A best friends' father passed away. A very best friend, here in Shah Alam. It was so sudden I cou...

Happy Belated Birthday

Image
Oh yea, I turned 22 last Friday. Zahra was the first to wish me. And she even sang for me a birthday song. And some other friends wished me too. :) It was only during my birthday that my Facebook wall became flooded and jam-packed with messages. Ha-ha. Somehow I felt famous for one day! The day of the birthday was quite a hectic one cause we have a big MAJOR event on the next day which is 'Kiddies X-Pose de X-Treme 2011' at the Extreme Park in Section 13, Shah Alam. But it's a great birthday. Honestly. I thank Mimey for the birthday celebration, for the cake, for the gift, and for the hassle of picking me up from Section 13. I am oh-so-touched ! Seriously! And oh, for the others who came that night. Like, OMG terharu sangat okayyy...! (I know you guys read my blog... So yeah, thank you thank you thank you!) And I must admit the other birthday song version was real nice. Really really nice! Such a lovely tone, I must say. Tak sah sambut har...

Tak Laku

Hello hello. Greetings! I was doing my assignment when suddenly I remembered something my teacher (this teacher is also the school counselor) back in high school said. She told us about her experience in dealing with those girls who play truant. They ponteng sekolah just to go out on a date with their boyfriends. "Kenapa kamu ponteng sekolah untuk jumpa dia?" "Saya takut nanti tak laku cikgu" And that girl was only 17 years of age. Oh my, such a mindset.

Felda Palong Timur

If mum found out I went to Felda Palong Timur last Friday, I'm dead meat. If she found out I actually spend a night there, again, I AM TOTALLY DEAD! Grounded for life. No more trip, no more outing. Why? Because mum is very strict. And protective. Sangat. She wouldn't let me sleepover at just any place... I know mum wouldn't allow me, that's the main reason I didn't ask her in the first place. I didn't lie, either. She didn't ask, so I didn't tell. Easy. It happened so fast. It's a decision made in less than 5 minutes. The friend had to go back because her mums' having a kenduri. So the other friend decided to send her back. Her point to get me involved "Makan free, weh! Rugi..." Yeah right. Makan free meant paying RM 10 for petrol and another RM 10 for toll. -.-" But anyway... The accommodation is free, kan. Plus you get to eat how much you wanted too. And oh, you don't have to pay the driver. Hahah! So yeah, masih berjimat di...

Because It's Friday

My life has been a bit chaotic these days. What's with all the assignments and two big events coming up. And oh! Wo de dianhua huai le... My phone rosak sudah! Seriously, when your most important medium of communication is not working, it is stressfull! And oh, today I'll have to submit two assignments and both my group members left for home last night. Okay fine, so one of them e-mailed me their part. At 3 am . Oh oh oh! Okay terasa bagai nak gila~ I must admit last night I faced quite a stressfull situation. I called mum, but I was quick to hang up because she sounded too tired to entertain all my hanky panky... BUT... This morning somehow I felt fresh. Last night I did some kind of spiritual treatment to myself. Oh no no no! Not syirik and all those bomoh-bomoh okay... What can I say... It just felt good! :) Bumped into a coursemate just now and blabbered blabbered to her about having to complete two assignments alone. She grieved, "Kesiannya...!" Surprisingly...

Extra Kain Di Kepala

Ever since donning the hijab, I found myself waking up earlier than usual. I found myself staring into the cupboard looking for clothes much longer than usual. I found myself changing-taking off-and-changing clothes more often. And then I realised that I needed to shop for more clothes. ( *Ahem ahem* Bos, I still haven't received my swimming classes payment...) When I first told mum about my intention to don the hijab, her reaction, I must say, is not really that supportive. Not un supportive in a bad way, but in a good way. She advised me to think thoroughly. She didn't urge me on wearing it, nor did she restricted me. She just said, "Fikir betul-betul dulu, jangan tergesa-gesa..." She was afraid I wanted to cover just because I'm heartbroken. No , I told her. To tell the truth, I already thought about it for a long time. Long enough... Since last year. I'm just waiting for the perfect time to start. The perfect time is when I am really really r...

Tidur

I've never slept during class before. Betul... Like, never EVER. Tipu tipu tipu~ Okay fine, maybe ONCE. So far as I remember, I only slept in class during CTU class back when I was studying in Malacca. CTU (if you're not a UiTM student), is an Islamic studies subject. Yes, yes, oh yes, I believe I only slept in class only that one time. And trust me, I did feel really really guilty! I feel like I've betrayed my lecturer! But just now , in Nutrition class... I actually fell asleep again for the second time! Like, for the second time in his class! Last week, and today. Both in the same class. Hah! Second time , okay people. The second time! But you know what, I didn't really feel guilty this time. I woke up, look at him, look at the presentation screen, look at my notes, and continued the learning process. We were learning about Protein, and just so you know, we already learnt about Protein in our Kinesiology class... So you see... Er er... Not to call myself an exper...

Of Love and Break Ups

Image
I'm in the mood of writing a motivational (hopefully), lovey dovey, emotional post now. So excuse me, please. Okay so let's just face it, people... You just have to go through these two things in life. Or if you're lucky, you'll be exempted from the second one; break up. Or break ups. A break up is very painful, I just learnt. So well yeah, do consider yourself lucky if you haven't been through one. How long did it actually took to forget someone? As in forget completely . I shall say, it depends. It depends on how you reacted to the break up. Okay fine, so the relationship ended. The first thing to do is to let it out... Don't keep it to yourself because later you'll be so stressed out that you explode. Explode BIG TIME. So , seek advice and consultation from whom you trust. Some advices I received: "He didn't deserve you. You are way better! You can get a better one... Don't worry." "Ala kau relax aje..." "Mesti ada h...

Sports First Aider

Completing 10 hours of medical cover is a requirement for this one subject I had this semester. I've to serve as a first aider at any sport events. Last week, I went to Kelana Jaya Stadium for this Majlis Sukan-Sukan Daerah (MSSD) sport event. It's a state level competition. Yes, they were all school children... And that brought back the many many memories of the good ol' school days I had. So yes. Let's go down memory lane, shall we... Back in my school days, I only cared about choral speaking, choir, public speaking, debate, and even pantun. Yup, all that. Not much of a physical activity, kan... MSSD? MSSN? MSSM? I don't even care about it. I know it's a sport event but I really couldn't care less. I cared about the schools' sportsman though. Eheh. Heh... Well basically, in a school, there must be this one hottie everyone had a crush on, right? It's either the head prefect or the schools' sportsman . Being a girl, I...

Mashitah

Image
You know you have to really focus on your Kinesiology assignment Bashtiah, given the fact that you received ZERO for your first assignment... But what to do, what to do... The webpage is still loading. So as to not waste time, why not open a new tab and start writing a new blog entry! Ahahaa... Killing two birds with one stone. Smart. ;) Okay so let me introduce you to Mashitah. I wrote about her already in this post but I didn't put her picture. Just so you know how cute she is, so TA-DA! Presenting... MASHITAH The one with the pink hoodie, okay. Comel kan? Betul-betul comel, I tell you... So yeah, this is the little girl I talked about. The one that gave me strength to work really hard to organize our event. Oh, before that. My class is organizing a kind of sports charity event called Kiddies X-Pose de X-Treme 2011. It's going to be held around March. Well, a day after my birthday actually. 26th March 2011. Trust me, we faced a lot of challenge. You think organizing an eve...
