Memories of a Sweaty Interview

The bad thing about having a blog : When you suddenly thought of something, you immediately switch on your laptop and start typing. For hours. ( Or does this apply to me alone?) Okay, my first paper is tomorrow morning and I still have two more chapters to go. Thank you very much. Somehow the thought of tomorrow's paper freaks me out. Thank you. Now I'm freaking nervous. Thank you. Which... Actually brought back memories of the freakingly sweaty interview I had on 18th April 2010 . It was a Sunday . Sweaty Sporty Sunday Shah Alam. This is not going to be a detailed what-I-did-at-9.37 AM kind of post, okay. Let's kiss. K eep I t S hort and S imple. 'Cos I'm timing myself. By 3.31 PM I should successfully disconnect , and connect back to my new found lover, buku anatomy . I just had to write about my interview session because I'm actually starting my VERY FIRST paper tomorrow! Can you believe it? Time flies so fast! Okay, okay, okay. Now I...

The End of First Semester

Image
No more classes. No more extra classes. No more replacement classes. No more quizzes. No more tests. No more assignments. *Phew!* I finally managed to survive the whole semester! Did you know that I actually studied Anatomy on my very first day? Yes, I did. Well I woke up early and immediately read the introduction part. Simply because I was nervous. VERY nervous, I tell you. I was so nervous that time that I actually trembled while flipping through the first few pages. I had to take loads and loads of DEEP DEEP BREATH before reading the first sentence. Yes, I was that nervous. Well... Just because I kept on thinking, How the heck am I going to remember all these scientific terms after THREE years studying management?! Like hello??? I even got a C for ALL my science subjects in SPM! ( Alamak . Now I just revealed how bad I did in my SPM...) Mak, I love you and that's the reason why I'm here. I'm willing to start everything from the first seme...

Eye Spy

Dear footballers , I have a confession. I watched you guys play football on the field from my window everyday . Well, not every single day. But... Er... Most of the time. And today I did it again. There are other girls who did the same as well, okay. One of my friends admits to having this sort of evening eye leisure too. It was actually enjoyable to see people running around, chasing just one ball. It's a form of entertainment. Heh. She told me to keep this a secret, though. I kept her name a secret, not the act . Basically just to prove that I’m not the only one who did this kind of embarrassing act... See? I even took a picture of it. ( Just in case I got kicked out of this college next semester.) You guys looked just like tiny ants, really. I couldn’t even see your face clearly. I remember your jersey, though. Most of the time, there will be re d ants running on the green field. But trust me, if I had a DSLR camera, the picture would be much clearer. And tha...

The Gorgeous Weightlifter

Image
Women athletes have less feminity compared to non-athlete women. Women involved in sports only dress like men. Women involved in sports look like a man. Woman + Sports = 100 % masculinity WRONG! That. Is. A. Stereotype. This gorgeous lady down here is actually a weightlifter. YES. A freaking sweaty weightlifter ! And she looked not even close to a man. I'm not sure how men would define woman but she does look woman enough. Matching earrings and necklace. She's woman enough for me. Marilou Dozois-Prevost Representing Canada, she won gold in the women's 53 kg division at the recent Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi, India. Cool aite? This is what we call 'Beauty with Strength'. Pictures of her weightlifting during the recent Commonwealth Games. Determination. Notice that lovely earrings? 182 kilograms. (No, not the earrings. I meant the weight is 182 kg.) Who says you can't be stylish while lifting such a heavy weight? Not all women involved in spor...
