There was this one time, we were getting ready to meet a representative from an agency. Something important for the business. The thing is, going out now is so not like the good ol bujang days. With Sofia, I had to bathe her, feed her, pack her drinks, diapers, napkin, wet wipes... Baru boleh bertolak. But since we had to rush, I didn't bathe her. After feeding her breakfast, we were all set to go. I thought we were early enough. Well, no. The representative left already. We could have just go to their office but Sofia wouldn't cooperate. Bath time, hello? Mama, it's bath time! I know I shouldn't give up, but I did. We went straight home and in my mind I told myself, 'Ah forget it. I'll just focus on Sofia for now. When you're older, I'll do what I want'. Because if I didn't set my mind like that I'd get stressed and let it out on her. I have finally realised (after many times) that I'd get stressed if I didn't get what I want. ...

Ever since realizing Sofia could flip pages, I know I should get her more books. When you have a baby, you tend to appreciate even the tiniest of achievements. She used to only bite the books, but recently she has started flipping pages. Still biting at times but well, it's a start. Apa? Beli je online? Well, I already did. I bought a cloth book for about RM11.88 at Lazada (Hi, Mummy Cici!)... Very cheap, I think. But Sofia wasn't really interested in it... Hm. Honestly, I wasn't satisfied with the product either. When I opened the package,  flipped the pages, I was like... Ini je? Hm. Anyhow... Went to Borders and saw a section for babies and toddlers. But I still couldn't find the touch and feel books that I wanted. But there are a lot of childrens' books that are so cute! And cheap, too! Okay, affordable. Belasan ringgit okay la kan. I settled for these two books. Both of these tak sampai RM50 pun. Belasan ringgit je each of this. Of good quali...

A conversation with my mum's friend selling snacks and fruits tepi jalan. I was carrying Sofia. "Eh dah besar dah! Macam sekejap je kan..." *terdiam seketika dan gelak besar*  "Heh. Ha'ah, sekejap..." "Hahaha! Yela kita yang menengoknya rasa sekejap... Yang membelanya tu..." *gelak besar lagi while looking at Sofia* Sofia's turning ONE end of this month. So, rasa sekejap ke lama? Well, sekejap or lama is a daily feeling I guess. When I'm tired and she doesn't want to sleep, the day is sooooo long. When she slept a lot, I was like "Ah cepatnya besar! Nanti tak lama nak gi sekolah dah!" So yeah, cepat or lambat. Depends.

On flying for the first time with a 9 months old baby. Sofia's first flight to Kota Kinabalu! Seriously, I was so damn nervous about taking her on a plane. Everytime when we were having a car ride, and she wouldn't stay still in her car seat, I thought to myself, 'Macam manalah dalam kapal terbang nanti....' Seriously, even going back to Ipoh (kejap-kejap berhenti) already got me so tired. I kept on thinking, how on earth am I going to get her to stay still inside the plane? The main thing that makes me anxious was because I didn't want to disturb hundreds of passengers inside the plane... If we're traveling by car on our own, we didn't really mind her crying (in despair) in the car seat as it's for her safety jugak. Public parenting... Aih. 4 days 3 nights in Kota Kinabalu with Sofia for the first time... There's just so much to write about! So I'm going to divide it into categories like motherhood/ parenting, things to buy, accom...
