Wild night

Iz and I had a wild night last night, di ambang hijrah. Sofia wouldn't sleep. From about 9pm, until Subuh. We tried all sorts of things, some failed some was a new discovery; she didn't like darkness.

We fed her (both bf and fm), changed her diaper, her mittens (the right side got wet coz she kept sucking it), slower down the aircond, from pangku on arms to pangku on shoulder... We even washed air yassin over her face and tummy.

It was so intense and tiring coz she kept on crying and when she wasn't crying, her eyes were wide open like it's 9am instead of 9pm! Seriously, I couldn't believe it when I heard recitation of Quran from the surau near our house (almost Subuh maknanya).

I'm a loser when it comes to staying up. Alhamdulillah, Iz is such a patient and understanding person he lets me take a short nap now and then while he tries to calm Sofia.

In the morning when recalling the night event, Iz said, "Don't mention it". Heheh... Aih, to many more wild nights together ya!

Assalamualaikum, thank you because stopping by at my blog, :)
Lepas baca entri ni, I missed the moment.haha
every parent will be face this same situation, but no worry, by the time goes by, baby akan faham, then they will sleep better after maybe 2-3 months old. :)
Em, maybe if your baby still could not sleep at night, you can do some soft massage on her perut, under the foot. Mungkin Sofia tak selesa dan rasa takut.
And, you can try to make a sleep routine. Baby love routine stuff. Maksudnya, kenalkan baby waktu siang dan malam. I read this on baby centre, haha Just a suggestion. Hang on there mummy. :)
